Dental Office Safety Protocol – HILLSBORO, OR
Our Commitment to Safety
To our Dental Family,
We wanted to reach out to you all to give you the latest update. The Governor announced phase 1 of reopening Oregon. In this phase she has opened all non-emergency medical, including dental offices, as of May 1st. This is very exciting news and we are excited to see you all!! We have been available to see patients since May 4th.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are taking all the additional steps indicated to create a safe and healthy environment for our patients and our team. Our stringent standard day to day sterilization and cleaning protocols will remain in place. You may notice some of the following changes:
Virtual Waiting Room
“Wait in Your Car”, where you will call us upon arrival and wait for us to call you in
Pre-Screening of Every Patient
Covid-19 Screening questionnaire
Daily Health Checks of Our Team
Monitoring all team members and patients’ temperatures when they come into the practice.
Counter Shields to protect both you and our team.
Cleaning After Every Appointment
Wiping down all reception and bathrooms surfaces that receive patient contact continually throughout the day.
N95 & ASTM Level 3 Masks
Increased Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in order to protect both you and our staff.
Social Distancing in Place
Lobby area modified and marked to allow for 6 feet of social distancing We ask that you notify our practice, if you, a family member, or your escort to your appointment have traveled out of the country, have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or are experiencing symptoms such as Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath and Fatigue, that you postpone or reschedule your appointment for a future date.
HEPA Air Filtration
We have increased our HVAC outdoor air circulation, and have IQAir HEPA filters in the office.
Additionally, we ask that only the person/people necessary for your appointment come to your appointment. In an effort, to maintain an appropriate social distance, we ask that any additional family members not be present at your dental appointment.
The safety and well-being of our patients and staff continues to be our primary concern. We will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 nationally, and within our community, to ensure your visit with us is a safe and healthy one.
